Microsoft 365: Change your password via SSPR

Introduction

This article provides step-by-step instructions on how to change your password using the Microsoft 365 Self-Service Password Reset (SSPR).

IMPORTANT: When you Reset or Change your password via Microsoft 365 Self-Service Password Reset it immediately changes the password for other systems, like MyRIC, Blackboard, and Starfish


 

Approximate time to complete steps: 3 - 7 minutes.

What Is Needed to Change Your Password:

 

Steps to Change Password with SSPR:

  1. Select the option Change Password shown in the Password tile (screen shot below)
  2. In order:
    1. Enter your current password (under Old password)
    2. Enter your new password twice (under Create new password and Confirm new password)
    3. Click Submit
