Download Assessment Submission

Summary

This article will show you how to download submissions associated to a particular assignment or test. From the gradebook, you can download files and text students add to their assessment submissions and review them offline.

1. Navigate to the course Gradebook and ensure that you have grid view selected in the top left:

2. Click the title of the column for the assessment and select "Download Submissions":

3. Click the checkboxes next to students whose submissions you would like to download. Clicking the box at the top of the column will select all students:

4. Click "Create ZIP File” in the bottom right:

5. At this point, Blackboard will group the submissions together and send you a link to download them as a ZIP file. Click “Send” in the popup window to confirm your request:

6. Once this action is complete, navigate to your course Messages tab:

course messages tab has a red border around it and there is a solid red circle with a white number 1 in the center. This is indicating that there is 1 new message that needs to be read.

7. Open the message containing the link to the download the ZIP file and click "Download now":

The blue text download now button has a red border which is indicating that you will be clicking it.

You will now need to extract the ZIP file in your downloads to view the downloaded submissions.
