Summary

This article will show you how to mark attendance using the Attendance tool.

Navigate to your Course Content page and click “Mark Attendance” in the Details and Actions panel:

Click "Add Attendance" in the popup window:

In the Settings bar, you may select whether or not to use attendance as a grade and customize the percentages assigned to each attendance value. Click “Save” to save your selections:

By default, you will see attendance for the current day with "Meeting" view selected in the top right corner:

To take attendance in Meeting view, click the boxes in the columns next to each student’s name. Scores are automatically applied to your selections if you chose to grade attendance:

You can also click the “Today” column heading to mark all students present/absent and access additional meeting options:

Select the "Overall" view in the corner if you would like to see full attendance with additional statistics:

To create columns for additional meetings in Overall view, hover to the left or right of an existing column header and click the purple plus sign:

To change the date for one of the meetings, click the column heading and select "Edit meeting". Choose the correct date from the calendar that pops up:
