Send Reminder from Gradebook

Summary

Instructors have the ability to send a reminder to students or groups who haven't yet made a submission for an assessment. There is a "Send Reminder" option to items in the Gradebook. Reminders is an option for all gradebook items, including LTI and third-party tools. The item must be visible to students and have no release conditions.

1. Navigate to the course Gradebook:

2. In list view, click the ellipsis to the right of the item:

In gradebook view, click the icon in the column header of the item:

3. Select “Send Reminder” from the dropdown menu:

The left red arrow is pointing to the Send Reminder options. The other options are Edit, Question Analysis, Download results and Delete.

4. Click “Send” in the popup window. At this point, Blackboard will automatically send a reminder to students who have not made a submission:

5. You should receive confirmation in a popup window once the reminder has been sent:
