Adding a Course Banner

1. From the course Content page, click “Course image” in the Details & Actions panel:

In the Details & Actions panel, the Course Image has a red border around it which is indicating that you will be clicking on this option. There are other options which are Roster, Progress Tracking, Course is open, Attendance, Books & Tools and Question Banks.

2. Click the image icon to the right of “Course image” in the Display Settings panel:

For the Course Image, the red arrow is pointing to the image icon.

3. In the “Image Source” dropdown menu, select whether you would like to upload a file from your device or choose a stock image from Unsplash:

  • Upload from Device: Click “Upload file” and select the image from your files. The image must be 1,200 x 240px or larger:

In the Image source, the Upload from Device is selected and a left red arrow is pointing to the Upload file button.

  • Unsplash: Search for images by keyword and select the image you would like to use from the results:

In the search field box we entered in literature as the key word. The Search button has a red border around it indicating that you will be clicking on this button.

4. Click “Next”:

The Next button has a red border around it which is indicating that you will be clicking this button.

5. Adjust the position and/or size of the cropped image you would like to use in the banner:

6. Click “Save”:

The Save button is being selected with red border around it which is indicating that you will be clicking this button.

7. Click “Save” again at the bottom of the Display Settings panel:
