Adding a Response to a Discussion

Summary

This video will show students how to post their response to a discussion and reply to a fellow student's response.

  1. Navigate to the discussion and click the title, a blue icon indicates that there are unread posts from other individuals in your course:

  1. To begin your response to the discussion, click the box labeled Type a response:

  1. When your response is complete, click Respond:

  1. To edit your post, click the ellipsis (three dots) next to your post and select “Edit” from the dropdown menu if your instructor allows students to edit responses after submitting:

  1. To reply to another user, click Reply below their post.

  1. Type your response in the text box and click Reply when you are finished:
