Adding an Entry to a Journal

Summary

This article will show students how to add a response in a journal.

Refer to Journals for more information.

1. Navigate to the Journal and click the title.

2. To begin your entry to the journal, click the box labeled “Type an entry”:

3. When your entry is complete, click "Post".

The downward red arrow is pointing to the black square with black lettering spelling Post.

4. To edit your post, click the ellipsis (three dots) next to your post and select “Edit” from the drop down menu if your instructor allows students to edit posts after submitting:

5. To add a comment to an existing journal entry, click the "Comment".

6. When your comment is complete, click "Comment".

7. Click the white x to get out of the journal.
