View Grade History

Summary

It’s important for instructors and administrators to be able to track any changes made to grades in a course for audit purposes. The grade history records provide a useful audit trail helpful for addressing, for example, student questions and grade challenges. You can download them from the gradebook. This article will show how to download the course's grade history.

1. Click the Gradebook tab in the top navigation.

2. Click the Download Gradebook icon.

3. Select Grade History.

In the Download Grades section, a red arrow pointing to the option to choose entire grade history.

4. Turn on Select All Items. (Note: By turning on this option then all of the assessments' activity will be included in this grade history report.

5. For the Last Modified Date, we recommend leaving it at All Time, so that you see all of the assessments' activities starting from the course start date. However, you do have the option to narrow down the modified date by selecting one of the drop down options.

6. Leave the default options selected and click Download.

7. You can now open the Excel file and view the course's grade history.
