Students can submit work via their Rhode Island College OneDrive accounts. Student can choose to send their submissions as a OneDrive file to only their professors or to a larger selected group.

Sharing A OneDrive File WIth An Instructor WIthin An Assignment
1. To submit a OneDrive file to an instructor, go to your OneDrive account, find the file and click on the share icon next to file on the main page.

2. In the pop up box you will see a section for sharing the file with your instructor and leaving a message.

3. Type in the instructor's name in the "add name" field and their email will appear, or search the directory.

3. From here you can send a message to the recipient and choose which type of access you want them to have, "can edit, "can view," etc.

4. Be aware that you can also click on the gear icon to choose your Link settings. Link settings will also set the types of permissions you want to give the recipient (see image below).

5. After you have chosen your permissions,

6. Now your link is copied and ready to be pasted into your assignment submission. Go back into Blackboard and click on the assignment you need to submit to. Click on the link option in the tool box above the text box.

7. Paste your link in the Link URL box and add in your Link Text if necessary, then click "Insert."

8. From here you will see your highlighted link in the text box. Then click "submit."

Sharing A OneDrive File Within A Discussion Board.
1. To submit a OneDrive file to a Blackboard Discussion, go to your OneDrive account, find the file and click on the share icon, or, as you can see in the image below, click on the 3 dots next to the file you want to share and click on "copy link."

2. This will open up the "Link Copied" box. From here, click on the gear icon to choose your link settings.

3. In the Link Copied box, you can choose the type of permissions you want to give your recipients. They have the option to view only, edit, download, etc.
When submitting to a Discussion choose People In Rhode Island College, this way whoever has the link can view the document. Once you have set your recipient permissions, click "apply" (see image below).

4. After you have chosen you settings, click "apply."

5. Your link has been copied.

6. Now your link is copied and ready to be pasted into your discussion submission. Go back into Blackboard and click on the discussion you need to submit to. Click on the link option in the tool box above the text box.

7. Paste your link in the Link URL box and add in your Link Text if necessary, then click "Insert."

8. From here you will see your discussion link in the text box and the option to "post" your discussion submission
