Department Chair Queries


Purpose: The queries listed under the Department Chair Queries page are the most commonly used queries by Department Chairs and Deans to gather reliable information for their day-to-day tasks. Follow the steps below to find a query that may suit your needs.


1. Log into MyRIC here: https://my.ric.edu
2. Type in your log in credentials then click on the LOGIN button

3. Click on the RIC Announcements button to collapse other homepages, then select the RIC Administrative Systems Homepage.

4. Click on the Campus Solutions (On Campus) tile

5. Navigate to Main Menu >> RIC Custom Applications >> RIC Academic Department >> Department Chair Queries

6. Select one of the tabs to see the queries available to you.

In this example, we will use the ZRSR_DEPT_SEM_CLASSES query to view the list of courses being offered by your department for a given semester.
Use the magnifying glass to search for the Academic Organization (Department).
7. Fill in the remaining criteria such as Term and Session.
8. Click on the View Results yellow button.
9. Click on the Excel Spreadsheet hyperlink should you need to sort the data produced by the query.

10. The Microsoft Excel file will be saved in the Downloads folder on your computer.

You can find technical assistance by entering a ticket request into Team Dymamix (TDX) by copying the text below and pasting it onto a web browser address bar.
