Copying Content from another Course

Select one of the following options.

Option A - Copying content into an empty course

Option B - Copying content either above or below an existing learning module or folder

Option C - Copying content in an existing learning module or folder


Option A - Copying content into an empty course

1. Click "Add Content".

2. Click "Copy Content".

The red arrow is pointing to the Copy Content option. You do see other options which are Create, Upload, Cloud Storage and Content Market.


Option B - Copying content either above or below an existing learning module or folder

1. Either click on the “+” above the learning module/folder or hover over the line below the learning module/folder and click the plus sign.

2. Click "Copy Content".

Option C - Copying content in an existing learning module or folder

1. Expand the learning module or folder

Right arrow is pointing to the down arrow to expand the learning module to show the contents within it.

2. Click the “+” at the bottom of the learning module or folder.

Red arrow is pointing to the plus sign within the learning module to add content within the learning module.

3. Click "Copy Content"

 

The red arrow is pointing to the Copy Content option. The other options showing are Create, Upload, Cloud Storage and Content Market.

4. Browse to the other course where your item is located. Click on the Arrow to drill down to the link

The red arrow is point to the right right arrow to the right of the course you want to access it's content.

5. Continue to click on the arrow to find the item or folder. Click to select the item(s) and Click "Start Copy".

There is a up red arrow pointing to the selection boxes of the items that needed to be selected to get copied over. There is a downward red arrow pointing to the Start Now button.

6. The item will be copied to the selected location. You may need to refresh the page to see the changes.  The item will be hidden from students by default, so be sure to change the visibility or set release conditions to suit your needs.
