MyRIC Student Enrollment Verification Task

Introduction

This article illustrates how students should complete the Enrollment Verification Task. This process helps the many offices on campus (Registrar, Financial Aid, and Bursar to name a few) determine what students are here and actively attending classes that were registered for in the current semester.

Instructions

E-Mail Notification

When the task is assigned, students will receive an e-mail from the address DONOTREPLY@ric.edu. If the system e-mail is not in the inbox, it could be in the "Other" folder if the Outlook Focused Inbox feature is enabled, or in the Clutter folder, if it is present.  Accessing the Student Task WorkCenter can be done by using the link provided in the New Task email which will take you to the MyRIC Student Portal, where you will type your MyRIC username and password.

Locating and Completing the Student Enrollment Verification Task

After logging into MyRIC, select the RIC Student Homepage on the top/left pull down menu, and then select Student Center.

To access the Student Enrollment Verification Task, click any of the 3 starred links to go to the Student Task WorkCenter in the screen shot below.  It will be located in the To Do List.

The Student Enrollment Verification page will be displayed after selecting it.  If necessary, use the scrolling arrows to read the full text. Select Accept. Today’s date will populate and the Save button will enable. Then select Save.

Select Finish to complete. This will return you to Student Center.

Confirmation of Student Enrollment Verification Task

After completion, the student will receive a task completion confirmation e-mail.
