Record Audio & Video Feedback on Graded Items

1. In the grading window for an assessment, click the arrow on the right to expand “Overall Feedback”:

2. Click the Audio/Video Recording icon.

3. To include video in your recording, select the camera icon in the popup window:

4. Click the red button to begin recording. The tool will give you a five-second countdown before the recording begins:

5. While recording, you can select Pause to stop and resume:

6. Select Stop to end the recording:

7. To review your recording, click the play button in the play bar that appears:

8. Select “Save and Exit” to keep the recording, or “Delete recording” to record another attempt:

9. The recording is now embedded in the Overall Feedback textbox. Click “Save Changes” to save the recording to your feedback:

10. To change the display name and/or alt text of the audio file, click the recording then click the Audio/Video Recording icon:

11. Edit the information in the popup and click “Save” when you are finished:

When you post the grade, students may access the recording along with any other feedback you leave. Students can stream the recording but cannot download or save it.
