Summary

This article aims to explain the setup of the sound system, how to adjust audio levels, and changing the system's configuration. It provides pictures and instructions for adjustments and configurations changes. Use the quick links to jump to the desired section.

 

Understanding the Layout and Default Configuration

  • In this system, each speaker is a "zone" and each microphone is a "line"
    • Refer to the map below for zone and line placement

  • In the default configuration:
    • Zones 1 and 2 can interact with each other
    • Zones 3 and 4 can interact with each other
  • The image below show what the default system configuration looks like. The "Changing the Configuration" section of this article goes into more detail about this configuration.

Adjusting Audio Levels

  1. To mute or unmute a microphone, tap its button so the light turns red or green

  1. To adjust zone volume, slowly turn its dial until desired level is reached
  2. To adjust line volume, slowly turn its dial until desired level is reached

Changing the Configuration

  1. To change what line is heard in what zone, select one or more of the zone buttons next to each line so the button lights up. Press again to unselect
  2. Adjust the zone volume as needed

Configuration 1 (Default): Zone 1 & Zone 2, Zone 3 & Zone 4

  • In this configuration:
    • Zones 1 and 2 can interact with each other
    • Zones 3 and 4 can interact with each other
  • The image shows the line routings and the table shows the zone volumes

Configuration 2: Zone 1 & Zone 2, Zone 1 & Zone 4

  • In this configuration:
    • Zones 1 and 2 can interact with each other
    • Zones 1 and 4 can interact with each other
