Receiving Email Notifications on New Activity from a Followed Discussion

Step 1 - Follow the Discussion

Step 1 - Follow the Discussion

1. Click on the Discussion

The right red arrow is pointing to the discussion labeled Computer Skills located on the Course Content page.

2. Click Follow.

The downward red arrow is pointing to the word Follow to the right of Discussion Topic.


Step 2 - Enable to the Followed Discussion Email Notifications

1. Click on Activity within the Ultra Base Navigation (UBN).

The left red arrow is pointing to the white word Activity in the ultra base navigation.

2. Click the gear icon to open the Notification Settings.

The right red arrow is pointing to the gear icon.

3. Click the email icon.

Below Notification Settings, the left red arrow is pointing to the envelope icon.

4. Turn on Email me right away.

Below Email Notifications, the email me right away option is turned on. The other option is email me once a day.

5. Click Save

6. When your students add either a new response or reply in the followed discussion, you will receive the email of the new discussion activity.
