Kaltura My Media offers a feature to "save" YouTube videos in your My Media and embed them in your course like any other video saved within the file repository. This feature does not download the video; it makes a copy of the video and eliminates the ads associated with YouTube content.
Occasionally, when importing a video from YouTube the import will fail to bring in the metadata. In most cases, the video will play properly.
What is the solution?
You have two options to solve the issue:
1. Open the video on YouTube then copy and paste the information Into Kaltura.
2. The easier solution is to add the YouTube video again. Once that is done, the video will have all the metadata.
Once the new version is available, delete the "YouTube Draft Entry."
