Ultra – Copying Kaltura Videos that were Uploaded via the Kaltura Media tool in Original to Ultra

There’s a bug with Kaltura when copying from Original course to an Ultra course. If the Kaltura video in the Original course is not within an item, meaning you uploaded the video via the Kaltura Media tool, you will not see the videos from the Copy Items page within the Ultra course. To get these videos to copy over into your Ultra course, you have to select the whole folder where the videos reside in the Original course and then they will copy over.

Copying Kaltura Videos that were Uploaded via the Kaltura Media tool in Original to Ultra

1. Do one of the following options:

Option A - On the Course Content page, select the purple plus sign where you would like to add the Kaltura videos and then select "Copy Content".

Option B - Click the three dots and then select "Copy Items".

2. Click the course title that contains the Kaltura videos that need to be copied over to your Ultra course.

3. Select the folder containing the Kaltura videos and then click "Start Copy".

4. The folder gets converted over to a learning module in the Ultra course and the Kaltura videos that were uploaded via the Kaltura My Media tool in the Original course will now appear within the learning module.
