When trying to add a collaborator, why is the person’s name not displayed in my selection list?
Introduction
Faculty who wish to share a media file with another faculty member can use the Kaltura Collaboration feature, accessible from the Edit Media page.

Why doesn’t the person show up?
The person you are trying to add as a collaborator may not have used Kaltura within the LMS yet. Users must access Kaltura at least once for their names to appear in the Kaltura list, allowing them to be added as collaborators.
The easiest way to resolve this is to have them upload at least one file to their Kaltura My Media. Whether it’s a video, audio, or an image file. Once this is done, they will be added to the Kaltura database, enabling you to add them as collaborators.
