The following knowledge base article will help you add your Rhode Island College Email to your Mail Application on your iPhone or iOS Device.
1. Unlock your iPhone, or iOS Device.
2. Tap on Settings.
3. Within Settings, scroll down until you find Accounts & Passwords, and tap on it.
4. Within Accounts & Passwords, tap on Add Account.
5. From Add Account, tap on Exchange.
6. In the Email text field, please enter your full Rhode Island College Email Address. Make sure to include the underscore and numbers in your email if this applies to you. In the Description text field, please remove Exchange, and type RIC. Tap on Next.
7. You will now be asked if you want to Configure Manually, or Sign In. Tap Sign In.
8. You will now be prompted to type in your password. Please use the password you set on Setting your Password . If you don't remember your password, please reset it by clicking here. After you enter your password, please click Sign In.
9. After clicking Sign In, you will be asked what you want to connect to your iPhone or iOS Device. In additon to to your Email, you are also able to add your Contacts, Calendars, Reminders, and Notes from your Rhode Island College Office 365 Account to your iPhone or iOS Device. You can chose what you want to connect to your iPhone or iOS Device by clicking on the green toggles. Please tap on Save once you chose what you want to connect.
10. You will now be returned to the Accounts & Passwords screen. Please tap on RIC.
11. You will now cofigure how much of your Rhode Island College Email you want to be able to view from the Mail Application on your iPhone or iOS Device. Please click on Mail Days to Sync.
12. You are presented with a range of time periods to chose from. It's recommeneded you click on No Limit to make sure you can view all of your Email. After you select No Limit, please tap on < RIC, and return to your home screen so you can navigate to the Mail Application.
13. Once you find the Mail Application on your home screen, please tap on it.
14. Please tap on RIC to view your mail.
