How to Look at the Kaltura Video Analytics

Log into your Blackboard account.

Click on “Tools”.

click “My Media”.

Click on the analytics icon to the right of your video.

The upward pointing red arrow is pointing to the analytics icon that looks like a very small bar chart.

At the top of the page, you will see some overall analytical data such as unique viewers.

The overall analytical data shows how many player impressions, how many plays, how many unique views, how many minutes viewed and the average completion rate.

Scroll down and click View Engagement Per User.

The upward red arrow is pointing to the blue View Engagement Per User option.

Listing out all of the users who viewed the video and their average completion percentage and total complete percentage.

If you scroll down the page, you will see following information:

  • Video performance over time
  • How player impressions lead to engagement
  • Top countries
  • Devices overview
  •  

NOTE: Your students’ activity will not show right away. There is a few hours delay before your students’ activity will show up in the User table.
