This service is for requesting a printer upgrade or a new printer for an office or department. This form should be used for requesting a new printer in a location where there hasn't been one previously installed or an upgrade to a printer currently installed that is no longer functioning or meeting needs. RIC ITS/USS officially supports SAVIN and Hewlett-Packard (HP) laser printers connected over the network to be shared by groups of computers in a department or office to make sure resources are used most efficiently.
