This service should be used for requesting computer/device accessories. This includes (but is not limited to) the following:
- Computer monitor
- Keyboard
- Mouse
- Web Cam
- Computer Speakers
- Additional Charger/Charging Cable
- HDMI/DisplayPort Video Cable
- Ethernet Patch Cable
- Computer/Device Case
In most situations, RIC ITS keeps a standard set of inventory on hand to accommodate most accessory requests. However, in some cases, an accessory may be not be available, a non-standard item, or considered a departmental budgetary purchase. In those cases, additional approval or funding source may be required to complete your request, and we will work with the requestor to provide recommendations and pricing whenever possible.
A separate accessory request does not need to be completed if you are also requesting a new or upgraded computer. There a fields that can be completed on the Computer Deployment Request that accommodate the addition of accessories into the same request.
